Starting a job search can be rather daunting, but there are tried and true ways to increase your productivity in your job search efforts. Here are ways to improve your job search, according to Flexjobs.

Celebrate Your Successes

If you’ve just achieved a milestone or overcame something tricky, it’s worth celebrating. And when you’re in a celebratory mood, you’re probably feeling more productive, and therefore more motivated to continue your job search.

Delegate Tasks

There might be a lot of things on your job-search to do list, like looking up reputable sites or hiring a resume writer.

Spreadsheets are Key

Keeping a spreadsheet of contacts, job submissions and follow-ups to keep organized is the best way to stay on top of the applications that you might send out.

Find a Mentor

An experienced career coach, or an industry professional can help guide you in your job search journey. A mentor or coach can also assist you in streamlining your process.

Incorporate Mindfulness

Taking care of your physical and mental wellbeing is of the upmost importance. Plenty of physical activity, fresh air, along with yoga and meditation can help you relax and recharge. Meditation has also been linked to increased memory and creativity.
