Easter weekend kicked off a jumpstart to the summer season at the Jersey shore, and one West Chester family is already taking full advantage of it, writes Annie McCormick for 6ABC. 

The Neary family hit the boardwalk last week for their favorite summer treats. The 80-degree temperatures were the perfect setup for some summer beach days. 

The family made their way to their favorite spots through dozens of people, all of whom wanted to enjoy a little preview for the summer season that is now not far away. 

“It felt like summer,” said Kristen Neary. “We got our Manco pizza, and Johnsons’ popcorn is next.” 

Vendors are also getting ready, making sure that their stock will last through the summer crowds.
