6ABC: Malvern Man Enjoys the Unofficial Start to Summer at the Jersey Shore

By

Many people, including Malvern resident Brian Johnson, took advantage of the warm weather and headed to the Jersey Shore for Memorial Day weekend, write Beccah Hendrickson and Annie McCormick for 6ABC.

Some groups decided to spend the day playing beach games, like Spikeball, while others simply enjoyed their surroundings as they soaked up the sunshine.

Most visitors did not rush home, with the boardwalk in Atlantic City still filled with people strolling and having fun even in the final hours of the extended weekend.

“It’s been incredible,” said Johnson. “Yeah, we’re having a great time. The weather’s been perfect. I think in past years it’s been a little bit rainy and chilly, but this year has been one of the best years we’ve had.”

Now that he has sampled the Jersey Shore for this year and truly enjoyed it, he is looking forward to a fun summer.
