Fame Fire Company will host a Food Truck and Vendor Expo on Friday, April 28 from 4-8 PM at its station on 200 East Rosedale Avenue in West Chester.

The event will feature more than 30 food trucks and vendors, bull riding, and free off-street parking.

Fame’s “Hall of Fame” Museum will be open for guests to browse through the 180 years of the fire company’s history.

Fame is one of three volunteer fire companies that make up the West Chester Fire Department and is also an integral part of the Chester County Rescue Task Force. Fame is the lead company for swiftwater, trench, confined space and structural collapse technical rescue disciplines and operates in a support role in the rope/high-angle technical rescue discipline.

Last year, Fame responded to 591 emergency incidents. Additionally, its firefighters participated in more than 9,600 hours of formal and informal firefighting/rescue training.

Fame’s recent firehouse expansion and renovation project is in the home stretch, and contributions are needed to fund the completion of the project.
