Director of Surveying and Data Capture

This position will lead the strategic and tactical implementation of the firm’s Surveying and Data Capture business. As a member of the management team, responsibilities include setting the strategy and overseeing the execution of the department’s business plan, staff management and development, operations, technology, and business development.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in surveying technology and be a Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor (PLS). He/she will have expertise in directing and performing all aspects of acquiring, processing, analyzing, and compiling data to prepare maps, plans, documents, and deliverables for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, control and design surveys, subdivisions, records of survey, ALTA/ACSM surveys, lot line adjustments and easement acquisitions, court case expert testimony, other office surveying tasks, and occasional field-related tasks.

IT & Help Desk Technician

This position will support users working in a multi-office enterprise infrastructure built on a Microsoft domain. Primary responsibilities include working with desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other IT devices running current Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems. He/she will work with servers, storage arrays, wireless access points, switches, routers, and firewalls along with Windows Server and Cisco Meraki. The person will provide proactive communications regarding task status and trouble points in order to complete assignments.

This is a customer-facing position requiring sensitivity to users of all technical levels. The person will use finely-tuned verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with hardware and software vendors to place orders and resolve issues. An associate degree in an IT curriculum is required.

Administrative Coordinator

This position will assist technical staff, collect data, perform research, develop tables, produce documents and reports, and provide administrative functions related to tracking project schedules, deadlines, and associated data management for engineering and construction projects.

The ideal candidate needs to be organized and detail-oriented with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and the ability to multi-task at a fast pace. He/she should possess at least one year of related experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
