Sommsation, a West Chester-based company that acts as a wine experience platform, has announced the launch of an e-commerce website which will allow independent wineries to sell products in the U.S. and Argentina, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Founded in April of 2021, Sommsation provides people with virtual wine tasting experience. Through the digital marketing site, its partner wineries and consumers now have an accessible resource to connect.

“As soon as we started doing the virtual wine tastings, we knew right away that we needed the marketplace because the number one question is, ‘This is amazing. Where can I buy it?'” said CEO Danielle Diliberti.

Sommsation currently has 25 partner sommeliers that are able to expand their reach to wine-lovers beyond their tasting rooms. Products on the site include bottles of wine and 90-minute virtual wine tastings led by a sommelier and a three-bottle flight of wine.

“We hope to be one of the leading e-commerce sites for wine and wine experiences by the end of this year,” said Diliberti.
