New Coffee Shop Opens in West Chester
Turks Head Café opened last week in West Chester, and the new coffee shop is already attracting many customers through word of mouth and online posts, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.
“The aroma of freshly ground and pressed coffee from the espresso machines pulls in new friends,” said Jeremiah Kane, who co-owns the establishment with Andrew Lamont, Michael Lamont, and Tommy Lamont.
Turks Head Café opened in the spot once occupied by Fennarios, and then Fenn’s. The new owners have made renovations to the space that created a brighter and more open atmosphere.
Brian Smith, who worked at Fenn’s for three years, is behind the counter. He specializes in latte art.
“People get a kick out of my little designs,” he said.
The café offers anything from coffees and teas to frappes, smoothies, and fruit-based refreshers. There are also some delicious baked goods, including muffins, bagels, and avocado toast.
Additionally, the shop will soon start hosting open mic nights, live music performances, and Super Smash Bros. tournaments. It will be able to seat 46 patrons for the events.
