2022 VISTA Millennial Superstars: Chad Martin
Chad Martin, a native of Rio Rancho, N.M., who moved to Parkesburg when he was 15 years old, is a Controls Engineer for All-Fill, an Exton-based manufacturer of packaging machinery.
Martin, who began working when he was 17 years old as Electrical Technician at Palace Packaging Machines in Downingtown, earned an associate’s degree in Engineering from Delaware County Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University, where he expects to finish his master’s degree in Engineering Management in 2023.
He credits the founder of Palace Packaging Machines for having the biggest impact on his career.
“Paul Taraschi Sr. was a role model to me both professionally and personally,” said Martin. “He was the first person to encourage me to pursue engineering, and he was always there to reassure me when things were rough.”
Martin’s proudest professional achievement was facilitating a relationship between All-Fill and TCHS Brandywine’s Co-Op Program.
“I feel grateful that I was given the opportunity to get an early start to my career through the Co-Op Program, so creating the opportunity for future engineers and technicians to have the same experience is rewarding,” he said. “I help give students the opportunity for hands-on experience, which is priceless in education. These students are the future of the industry, and I love that I am able to play a role in shaping their experience.”
Martin’s favorite restaurant in Chester County is World of Beer in Exton.
