Samantha Dardine, a Delco native who grew up in Kennett Square, is the Sales and Marketing Manager for Downingtown-based Victory Brewing Company, one of the most decorated craft breweries in the nation.

Dardine, who began working at Quiznos Sub when she was 14 years old, earned a bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management from Penn State. She credits her college professors for having the biggest impact on her career.

“They were all hospitality industry professionals with many years of experience,” said Dardine. “When I am faced with a challenge or tough situation, I think back to the wisdom and practical knowledge that they taught me.”

Overseeing Victory’s planning, marketing, and promotional tasks, she most enjoys helping guests plan special celebrations. She said that watching them get together with friends and family is something that never gets old.

Dardine’s proudest professional achievement has been helping to bring in donations that benefit the community.

“Victory Downingtown donated 25 percent of all proceeds from our 2021 Downingtown Fall Fest sales toward the Hurricane Ida Relief Fund set up by the Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce,” she said. “We worked so hard to drive sales and give back as much as possible to the community. We spent weeks preparing and planning for the event and donated over $4,300 to help those businesses affected by Hurricane Ida and the flooding in Downingtown.”

Dardine’s favorite places in Chester County are Lily Sushi & Grill in Kennett Square and Pomodoro Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Downingtown.

Dardine and the rest of the 2022 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration held outdoors on Tuesday, May 10 at Penn State Great Valley. The in-person event will feature food trucks, drinks, touchless registration, a VIP tent, and boundless opportunities to network. It will also be live-streamed.
