Local diners looking for a new dining option to fill these blustery, bleak January days have a new option in Berwyn. Will’s + Bill’s Brewery and Restaurant is a family-owned operation that offers relaxed dining and great happy hours, writes Caroline O’Halloran for SAVVY Main Line.

The setting is roomy with safely spaced seating, yet the new establishment feels warm and cozy, similar to an English pub or a mountain lodge. Patrons can choose to warm up by roaring limestone-mantle fires, sit by the quartz-topped bar with multiple televisions, or relax in one of the cushy, tartan-plaid seats or booths.

The menu offers the usual pub favorites, a seafood bar, bowls, and salads. There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options.

Some local favorites are Roasted Cauliflower Piccata, the Salmon Harvest Bowl, and Hereford steak burgers.

“We wanted to offer things that a typical neighborhood restaurant wouldn’t have,” said Bill Mangan who owns the brewery with his son, Will.

The drinks menu is also top shelf, with beers brewed onsite. Cocktails are plentiful and include fresh-fruit vodka sodas and expansive lists of aged whiskies.
