Prepare to Earn the Gold Standard in Project Management with WCU’s Eight-Week Workshop

Level up your project management skills by preparing for the PMP exam with West Chester University’s Comprehensive Project Management Workshop that begins on Sept. 29 and runs from 4:30-7:30 PM for eight consecutive Wednesdays.

The workshop is aimed at novice and experienced project managers aspiring to become a professional and/or seek professional credential in Project Management. It is designed to equip attendees with the complete set of skills and tools to consistently be an effective project manager.

Participants examine the role of the project manager and their involvement in managing a project’s lifecycle through defining tasks, time management, cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation. The workshop includes:

  • Course led virtually by a Certified Project Management Professional
  • Recordings made available should a class be missed
  • Approximately 11 hours of homework throughout the eight weeks
  • Updated materials and techniques for new PMP exam
  • Free online access to all materials for up to one year
  • Real-world experiences shared to enhance practical application
  • All PMI Knowledge Areas covered  
  • West Chester University certificate awarded with 35 contact hours after completion
  • Workshop meets educational requirement to sit for PMP exam

The workshop is designed as a blended learning experience with 24 hours of synchronous and 11 hours of asynchronous learning, where participants apply various tools and techniques introduced in live sessions.
