The new casino in Morgantown, just beyond the Chester County border, is slated to open by the end of the year.

Penn National Gaming has opened a career center at the Holiday Inn Morgantown. The site will help it fill 375 new positions at Hollywood Casino Morgantown, which is projected to open before the end of the year. Evan Jones collected its details for the Reading Eagle.

The gaming giant is also hosting several Table Games Dealer School Open House hiring events over the next two weeks. They will also take place at the career center.

“We look forward to interviewing candidates for the vast array of jobs that will support our expected grand opening later this year,” said Erin Chamberlin, senior vice president of regional operations for Penn National Gaming.

The career center, at 6170 Morgantown Road, is open weekdays from 9 AM-5:30 PM, with an option to expand these operating hours in the future. The Dealer School hiring events are Sept. 13 and 15.

Available jobs are for both full- and part-time positions in various fields. These include casino operations, food and beverage, security and surveillance, and human resources. Qualified applicants may receive same-day employment offers.
