Locals and tourists were doing more than Christmas shopping in December, according to revenue figures for the Valley Forge Casino and Resort just out from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
While statewide the monthly slot machine revenues for December 2014 showed a 5.82 percent increase over December of 2013, the increase at Valley Forge was 14.84 percent ($6,065,172).
Also, gross slot machine revenue at Valley Forge was $63,207,407 in 2013, but $73,495,316 – up 16.28 percent.

The full gaming report is here. According to the board, slot machine play at the state’s 12 casinos produced over $10 million more in gross revenue in 2014, $188,426,686, compared to the $178,059,128 in gross revenue generated in December 2013.
