Environmental Consultant at Spotts, Stevens, and McCoy Honored for Outstanding Service in the Water Supply Field
Serena DiMagno — a Senior Environmental Consultant at Spotts, Stevens, and McCoy — was recently honored with the Samuel S. Baxter Award during the 2021 Pennsylvania AWWA (American Water Works Association) Conference.
The award is presented in recognition of outstanding personal service in the water supply field and in commemoration of leadership in the development of safe public water system facilities, the advancement of improved water supply practices, and the promotion of a water works industry of high esteem and service to AWWA.
Spotts, Stevens, and McCoy is a regional engineering, environmental, and surveying firm that serves local and global clients.
DiMagno has more than 45 years of experience in water and wastewater system investigation, design, operations and treatment, management, regulatory negotiation, permitting, and compliance. DiMagno is a graduate of Chatham University in Pittsburgh. She has received the Water Works Operators’ Association of Pennsylvania Ivan M. Glace, Harry J. Krum, and Fred G. Eckardt awards and is a Past President of the Association.
