1.         Celebrate your successes and accomplishments daily! At the end of every day write down all the accomplishments you achieved, both large and small ones. Far too many people end their day thinking about all the things they need to do tomorrow, without reviewing what they have accomplished today.

2.         You are own your goals program or someone else’s every day. So, make sure you are on yours by always working toward exciting goals that are personally meaningful to you.

Start the day by reviewing your goals for the day and why it is important to you to achieve them. Stay focused on them throughout the day by asking yourself as you move through the day, “Is this the most important use of my time right now?” If it isn’t, start working on your goals.

3.         Surround yourself with supportive people. Look at your friends — do they support your goals? Are they encouragers? Charlie “Tremendous” Jones said “You will be the same person in the future as you are today except for the people you have in your life and the books you read.”

4.         Be an encourager yourself. One of the best ways to get other people to support your goals program is to support their goals program. Do you always find the good in other people? Do you always support them? Are you the one they like to be around? Do you encourage them to reach a little higher, to stretch and to use a little more of their potential?

5.         Share your most important goals with those around you who will support you and encourage you. Start a mastermind group to help you achieve your goals.

6.         Readers are leaders. Read everything you can to improve your mind in every area, not just in your career. Be very selective about what you read — pick the books, magazines, and articles that will support your goals in all areas of your life.

7.         Be a lifelong learner in your field. The more you learn, the more you earn. When you’re more knowledgeable today than you were yesterday about your particular industry, you can’t help but be more confident.

8.         Listen to audios and podcasts. Make a habit of listening to motivational and inspiration information available today. Use the time spent exercising, walking, or anytime your hands are busy but your mind isn’t, to fill your brain with ideas. Turn your car into  a university on wheels.

9.         Exercise. It’s proven that daily exercise makes you feel better about yourself and actually increases your mental capacity.

10. Develop an attitude of gratitude. Write down your gratitudes daily. Being thankful on a daily basis will give you more to be thankful for every day.
