On its sprawling 60 acres of farmland, the Main Line Animal Rescue offers an array of animal services, adoption opportunities, and vet care. But it also specializes in those animals needing a little TLC for behavior or medical issues, writes Bethany Owings for 6ABC.
MLAR has a fully amenitized apartment to acclimate feral animals unfamiliar or uncomfortable with inside living. The “home school” desensitizes them to ordinary household items — a vacuum cleaner, a rocking chair, a fireplace — that can be terrifying to a formerly homeless cat or dog.
