Wawa Adds Burgers to Menu; One Customer Could Win a Year’s Worth

By

Wawa is now offering burgers made any way you’d like at its 920 stores on the East Coast, reports Dan Stamm for NBC 10.

One lucky customer can win free burgers for a year, via a $780 Wawa gift card. Sign-ups for this contest end Friday.

The burger rollout is part of Wawa’s strategy to convince consumers that it not only offers breakfast, lunch, and late-night snacks, but dinners-to-go as well.

Video looks at why customers are so loyal to Wawa.

“Burger festivities are designed to give customers a taste of the new product and drive excitement for a new line of fresh, quality, and convenient options at dinner time,” said Wawa Chief Product Marketing Officer Mike Sherlock.

The all-natural Angus burgers are the No. 1 seller at new drive-thru Wawas in Bucks County and South Jersey.

The company is also handing out “I Burger Wawa” gift packs featuring a t-shirt and a $25 gift card through radio station giveaways.
