SCORE Bucks County is teaming up to offer a 5-part women-focuses webinar series starting Oct. 28 and continuing through February 2021.

The goal of the Women’s Small Business Virtual Workshop series is to help women business owners bounce back from the pandemic.

SCORE Bucks County is working with the Small Business Administration, along with the TriCounty and the Chester and Delaware County chapters of SCORE.

The webinars are free and will take place at 9 a.m. on each of five dates.

“How to Rebound and Find New Ways to Adjust to the ‘New Normal’ will take place Oct. 28.

It features a panel discussion with an overview of the four strategic topics covered in the four detailed sessions: wellness, business operations/finance, marketing, and diversity.

On Nov. 18, “Dear ReZilient Women, It is OK Not to be OK” will explore realistic expectations, such as what makes this pandemic more stressful than other times in history; and what is the difference in mental wellness and mental illness.

The third webinar, “Recovery Continues – Updates on SBA Programs and Services – Economic Injury” will be offered on Dec. 16.

A representative from the Eastern Pennsylvania SBA district office will update attendees on ongoing disaster assistance programs to help small businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, how to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program Loan Forgiveness and updates on programs moving forward.

On Jan. 13, a marketing-focused webinar, “How to Reach Your Clients’ Ideas on the Internet in the New Normal” will provide an overview of how business owners can build their know, like and trust; how to plan out content; and more.

The final webinar, “Unconscious Bias, a Major Leadership Blind Spot in Your Small Business Operation” will take place Feb. 17.

This interactive session will address best practices for small business owners to effectively create inclusivity in the business and products; how to appreciate cultural diversity; how words and behavior can impact others; and offer strategies for incorporating inclusion and diversity into entrepreneurial endeavors.
