Exton Starbucks’ Customer Redefines “Drive Through”

Grabbing a cup of coffee turned into an exciting experience for customers who visited Exton’s Starbucks on Monday morning.

Police are investigating the crash which happened around 8:30 a.m., when two elderly men lost control of the vehicle in which they were traveling. In an attempt to navigate the parking lot, the driver backed into the new digital sign, and then ended up driving through the doors right into the coffee shop.

When the car finally stopped moving, it was lodged half way inside of the building on the 300 block of Lincoln Highway. Following the incident, the café was evacuated, and the power was turned off until it was deemed safe for business to resume again. Only material damage was reported, with no major injuries sustained.
