Two Chester County-based companies are among the 20 best employers in Pennsylvania, according to Forbes magazine’s second annual ranking of America’s Best Employers by State.

To determine organizations liked best by employees, Forbes partnered with market research company Statista. The full list was first compiled by surveying 80,000 employees who work for businesses with at least 500 employees, and then divided into 51 rankings – one for each state and the District of Columbia.

The surveys were conducted between the period of October 2019 and May 2020.

Wayne-based Teleflex, a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve the health and quality of people’s lives, placed sixth.

Malvern-based Vanguard, one of the world’s largest investment companies with $6.2 trillion in global assets under management, checked in at No. 18.

The highest-ranked employer in Pennsylvania was Carnegie Mellon University, followed by the Federal Reserve System, Hershey’s, Penn Medicine, and SEPTA.
