Four companies in Chester County are among this year’s best employers in the country for diversity, according to new rankings recently published by Forbes.
To compile its third annual America’s Best Employers for Diversity, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista.
The rankings were determined by surveying more than 60,000 employees nationwide who work for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. They also examined the diversity of each company’s executive team and board. Other factors considered were whether the companies have leaders who promote diversity and whether a company proactively communicates about the topic.
The highest-rated company from Chester County is West Chester-based Qurate Retail Group at No. 235.
Next is Malvern’s Vanguard at No. 336, followed by Advanced Call Center Technologies, which has its headquarters in Berwyn, at No. 370.
The list is rounded out by Chesterbrook-based AmerisourceBergen at No. 391.
Meanwhile, the best employer for diversity in the nation is multinational software corporation SAP, which has its North American headquarters in neighboring Delaware County. The company jumped eight spots compared to its position last year.
