Deadline Looms for Mobile-Home Owners to File for Property Tax Reassessment with Help of United Way

United Way Chester CountyThe United Way of Chester County, in partnership with Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, is offering assistance to mobile-home owners in Chester County to file for property tax reassessment appeals.

Mobile-home owners can either call by phone at 610-429-9400 or fill out and return the flyer below by July 1, 2020 to schedule your 30-minute phone appointment.

For the phone appointment you will need:

  • The year, make, model, and size of your mobile home
  • A property tax bill (preferably the school tax bill)
  • Title or sales agreement to your mobile home
  • Information about how much you paid for the home, including a bill of sale if you purchased within the past five years

Mobile-home owners who filed through the program last year saw an average of 70 percent reduction in their annual property taxes.
