Admissions Liaison

This position assists new admissions and family members through the admissions process at Pocopson Home; provides emotional support and a positive approach to ensure a smooth transition; completes pre-admission on-site field visits as needed; and provides tours to potential residents and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of experience working in a human services/admissions environment; experience in community health, social work, marketing, or a related field; and excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

Admissions Intake Coordinator

This position performs all admission data entry and paperwork for new residents of Pocopson Home; handles admission referrals via phone, fax, e-mail, and personal contact; and provides essential feedback to the Admissions Director of any potential problems with the pre-admission screening process.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical environment; a business background with electronic medical record knowledge and experience; and some knowledge of Pennsylvania Medical Assistance rules and regulations.

First Deputy Coroner

This position supervises all Coroner’s Office transporters and oversees quality control of investigator and transporter work products; maintains and oversees databases, logs, and spreadsheets; and determines training needs and establishes training as necessary for all investigators and transporters.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a science, health, or criminal justice discipline; five years of demonstrated, related experience; two years of experience in a coroner/medical examiner office; and certification by the PA State Coroners Training and Education Board.
