In the spirit of the Kentucky Derby, Handi-Crafters will host a Spring Derby Party that is sure to be a galloping good time on Thursday, April 30 from 6-9 PM at the Phoenixville Foundry.
The fundraiser, presented by Bentley Systems and Meridian Bank, will feature horse racing, wagering, and contests for the best hat and best derby attire, as well as juleps and a menu with Southern flair.
Handi-Crafters is seeking sponsors for the event. Sponsorships include tickets and are a fantastic investment in the Thorndale-based nonprofit’s important mission to empower individuals with disabilities to lead more independent, productive, and fulfilling lives.
Handi-Crafters’ clients take great pride in their work. Sponsorships will keep meaningful employment available for hundreds of differently abled individuals. Contributions through this event are critical in keeping Handi-Crafters’ employment options and opportunities thriving for the growing number of individuals who need its services year after year.
This annual fundraiser has grown over the last 20 years. On April 30, more than 200 corporations, individuals, and philanthropic leaders will gather at the Phoenixville Foundry to celebrate and support the lives of Handi-Crafters’ amazing clients and their employment goals.
