Based in Coatesville, Habitat for Humanity of Chester County is a nonprofit organization that relies on the community to help it build homes for low-income families living in Chester County.

Executive Director

This position serves as the chief operating administrative officer with responsibility for operations within the policies and parameters established by the Board of Directors. He/she serves as a resource person to the Board of Directors and committees and represents the organization as a spokesperson to the wider community. The person is responsible for the effective execution of the strategic plan management of staff and operations, program development and oversight, development and fundraising, marketing and communications, construction activities, and fiscal operations of the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, though a master’s degree is preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in team leadership and office management, with a proven record of accomplishment. He/she must be outcome-oriented and a strategic thinker with a strong work ethic for high-quality performance and attention to detail. The person must also be adept at planning, monitoring, and implementing annual organization plans.
