The Sixers Youth Foundation, a public charity committed to positively impacting the lives of young people in the Greater Delaware Valley, has partnered with Chester County Futures (CCF) to support motivated, economically disadvantaged students in Chester County.

The Sixers have graciously provided CCF – a nonprofit formed in 1996 as a poverty prevention program to provide youth with academic, mentoring, and scholarship support – with a grant to help support and sustain its “Futures Ahead” programming.

The foundation visited CCF students and staff at their North Brandywine Middle School site in Coatesville. Sixers representatives had an opportunity to observe and participate in CCF programming. They also brought along Ivana Seric, who works as a Data Scientist in the franchise’s Research and Development Department, to serve as guest speaker.

Members of the Sixers Jump Team performed and entertained the students at the conclusion of the program.

“We cannot overstate the power of our partnership with the Sixers Youth Foundation,” said Maria McDonald, CCF’s Executive Director. “The partnership provides critical financial support and engagement activities for our middle school program, Futures AHEAD. Garnering a speaker with the personal background and professional resume of Ivana Seric provided an extraordinary learning experience for our students. Squad 76 certainly brought the energy level up as well!”
