Chester County Council, Scouts BSA to Host Virtual Vino Fundraiser on Nov. 20

By

COVID-19 is having a significant impact on the Chester County Council’s ability to deliver quality Scouting programs to local youth. Summer camp and numerous other activities and fundraisers that make the Council’s programming possible have had to be canceled.

However, the challenges wrought by the pandemic are creating new opportunities, one of which is Virtual Vino on Friday, Nov. 20.

Join the Chester County Council’s first-ever virtual wine-tasting event, featuring Stone & Key Cellars.

For every ticket of $150, you will receive four bottles of wine that will be available for pickup prior to the event. Then, on Nov. 20 at 7 PM, log on remotely as the head winemaker from Stone & Key Cellars leads guests on an adventure in wine tasting as money is raised for Scouting.

There will be sponsorship opportunities, as well as raffles and an auction featuring naming rights to the Camp Horseshoe Road and the Camp Ware Dining Hall.

Those interested in participating can contact virtualvino@scouting.org. Every single dollar will help the Chester County Council during this unprecedented time to make a positive difference in the quality of life for its Scouts and their communities. Even if you cannot attend, please consider making a donation.
