Coatesville native Geoff Sheehan is a Senior Vice President at Meridian Bank, a Malvern-based bank with strong ties to the community that offers valuable products and services, as well as innovative technology.

Sheehan, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Penn State, credits Joe Cafarchio, the Executive Vice President at Meridian Bank, as having the biggest impact on his professional career.

“I can’t even begin to describe the ways he’s impacted my career and life,” said Sheehan, who began working as a 14-year-old when he went into Hannum’s Motorsports in West Chester to look at dirt bikes and walked out with a job. “Joe was there to help me start my career. He pushes me hard to this day. He was there with advice as I became a husband and father. To call him a mentor is an understatement.”

Sheehan’s proudest professional achievement is ringing the closing bell at NASDAQ.

“It was a celebration of more than a decade of hard work by a great team of people,” he said. “Seeing your picture on the Times Square billboards is a memory hard to forget!”

Sheehan’s favorite Chester County restaurant is Asuka in West Chester, where there is a dessert named after him and his wife.
