The Landenberg Pet Resort is enabling local pet owners to go on vacations without having to worry by providing a safe place to leave their beloved pets, writes John Chambless for the Chester County Press.

Bob Bowe, who has owned the business for nearly three decades, has a golden rule regarding the quality of the care he provides his four-legged clientele.

“If we were away,” said Bowe, “how do we want our dogs taken care of?”

And that is exactly how the Bowe family cares for every dog that stays at the resort: the same way as they do for their own three dogs.

This has ensured that all the pets are eager to stay at the resort, giving their owners a peace of mind when they have to leave town.

“The first dog that we took to Landenberg Pet Resort was Belle, and she just loved going there,” said Betsy Bruhn. “Whenever we said, ‘Mister Bob,’ she would just get so excited. And he really cares about all the dogs that he gets to know.”
