Dubarry of Ireland, a retail brand popular in Europe, recently marked the grand opening of its pop-up shop in downtown Oxford with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, writes Steven Hoffman for the Chester County Press.
The brand that features a premium collection of performance footwear, clothing, leather goods, and accessories opened its new store on Oct. 1. The grand opening ceremony took place three days later.
The new store is at 29 South Third Street, close to the company’s warehouse and office on West Christine Road in Nottingham.
“After being located in the area and developing a loyal customer base over the last 13 years, we are excited to open an outlet and pop-up shop in the community,” said Danny Hulse, the general manager of Dubarry USA. “Locating in Oxford puts us ahead of a trend we see happening. There are a lot of great things happening in this little town.”
He said that in addition to carrying items from the current line, the new pop-up shop will offer items from discontinued lines and former samples – some of which are not available anywhere else – at great deals.
