RE/MAX’s Michael Diggin Provides Update on Housing Market in Chester County
In this video, Michael Diggin of RE/MAX Town & Country in West Chester provides a brief update on the real estate market in Chester County through July 2019.
Across the county, prices have increased significantly, by an average of $23,000, or 5.8 percent, from July 2018 to July 2019.
“That’s great news if you’re a seller,” said Diggin, “but we’re starting to feel a squeeze, especially if you’re a first-time homebuyer just getting into the market.”
Looking ahead, there’s a lot of optimism as summer turns to fall.
“We’re well-positioned,” said Diggin. “We have enough inventory to give us a real boost as we enter into the post-Labor Day sales market.”
