GPS Specialist

This position assesses situations to determine if children are at risk of harm in accordance with regulatory guidelines; completes child abuse investigations, including difficult and/or complicated cases; and helps develop individual treatment plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or a social science; two years of experience in a human services field; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Bilingual Early Intervention Service Coordinator

This position provides case management services to children from birth to age three that are at-risk and/or have developmental delays; conducts initial screenings, intake interviews, appropriate referrals, and plan development; and monitors client programs as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in social science or a related discipline; two years of experience in the human services field; experience in early childhood development and with individuals with developmental disabilities; and knowledge of the SS/DPW system.

Coroner’s Investigator

This position performs scene investigations and death notifications, including interviews, securing records, and collecting evidence; assists in reviewing investigators’ reports; establishes training for staff and outside agencies; and provides transportation of human remains as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in criminal justice, nursing, or a related discipline; experience as a deputy coroner or medicolegal death investigator; excellent time management and organizational skills; and two years of demonstrated experience in a medical or pre-hospital setting.
