From Friday, April 22th through Sunday, April 24th, the West Chester Film Festival (WCFF) will celebrate its twelfth year of bringing the best of international short film from countries such as Japan, Austria and South Africa right here to Chester County, and opening our eyes to the artistic visions of our filmmakers.  This year has produced a record number of submissions, which has in turn elevated the quality of the presented films. Also, while we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to screen films at the Uptown! Entertainment Alliance’s upcoming theater next year, we are also thrilled to present over 75 short films in several unique downtown venues this year.  

We ask that you join us this year as we realize the visions of artists from all over the world, whether it be as a sponsor, a patron, or a volunteer.  Each of these groups is extremely important to the Festival.  Our volunteers facilitate the weekend’s activities; our patrons bear witness to the filmmakers’ artistic visions; and our sponsors are ultimately responsible for our continued success.  

Because the WCFF is a not-for-profit festival, we rely on the generosity of our volunteers and sponsors to make it possible. We are writing to you today to ask that you consider becoming a sponsor to help us deliver this world-class art to West Chester.  Your tax-deductible contributions help us book venues, promote the Festival, produce media packets and purchase equipment.  We will be highlighting the sponsors in a variety of ways including on-screen advertisements at every film block, and we are happy to offer customized sponsorships.
