The Teaching and Learning Innovation Program at Penn State Great Valley was selected to receive funding from the Penn State Bookstore – which is operated by Barnes & Noble College, a Barnes & Noble Education Inc. company – as part of a round of grants to support a range of programs and initiatives across the university.
The targeted investments at Penn State campuses across the commonwealth are expected to have a significant impact on student and faculty life.
This investment from the Penn State Bookstore will advance “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence,” a focused campaign that seeks to elevate Penn State’s position as a leading public university in a world defined by rapid change and global connections.

The college’s New Choices Career Development program can help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to determine a career path, find a job, and achieve your goals. The program provides individual and group support, career assessment and planning, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques, and basic computer skills, with the aim of helping students find a successful career and a fresh start.
New Choices is a six-week program, and classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM-3 PM at the Marple Campus. The next session begins on Tuesday, Jan. 22 and the deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 21. Call 610-359-5232 for more information or to register.
