The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing programs for children, families and adults for its more than 80,000 members throughout Chester County.

Aquatics Director (Lionville)

This position provides leadership and supervision of all aquatic group and private lessons; lifeguards for the indoor and outdoor pools; hires, trains, schedules, and supervises staff necessary to meet expectations; and oversees aquatic activities that involve community collaborations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a minimum of two years of YMCA or related experience within another organization; Ellis Lifeguard and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Trainer certifications; and proven staff leadership and supervision skills.

Child Watch Coordinator (Kennett)

This position hires, trains, and supervises program staff and volunteers; plans, organizes, and leads specific activities, routines, and games; develops and markets program promotion pieces; and organizes and maintains program schedules and records.

The ideal candidate will be a minimum of 21 years old and possess a high school diploma; a passion for working with people, especially children; supervisory experience with groups of small children; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Member Service Associate (Oscar Lasko)

This position greets, provides excellent customer service, and provides a diverse and inclusive experience to all YMCA members.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; customer service experience and strong computer skills; and a love of working with people.
