Image Studios 360, the community-based salon company that leases working space to beauty professionals, is opening four locations in the Philadelphia area, including in West Chester and Berwyn, writes Laura Brzyski for the Philadelphia magazine.
The company is known for taking large retail spaces and turning them into franchised, co-working studios for hairstylists, estheticians, and other professionals in the beauty industry.
To help promote its leases, Image Studios 360 Philadelphia owner Robert J. Keyes and chief operating officer Sue Jacquette plan to provide all stylists renting space in one of their locations with startup funding, business mentorship, and professional development.
This business model will really help their clients, particularly with pricing and flexibility.
In fact, since stylists can lower pricing for their services in their own spaces, “consumers save and stylists can still make a sizeable profit since there is no salon owner receiving a portion of their income,” said Lynsie Solomon, Image Studios 360 Philadelphia public relations manager.
Also, stylists will have access to space 24/7, making it easy to schedule clients during atypical hours.
The West Chester location is expected to open in November, with the Berwyn location following a month later.
