Chester County has once again shown that it is one of the most desirable places to live – not only in the state, but the entire country – as it checked in at No. 4 on Movoto’s list of the 10 Best Counties in America, writes Samantha Toscano for the Huffington Post.

According to Movoto’s editorial content manager, Randy Nelson, the site assessed 640 counties across the nation to create the ranking.

“We scored each in terms of unemployment, median household income, median rent and home price, percent of families below the poverty line, and high school graduation rate,” he said. “The average of these scores was used to determine the best counties.”

The three counties that rated ahead of Chester County are:

1. Loudoun County, Va.
2. Douglas County, Colo.
3. Fairfax County, Va.
