Three Chester County firms are on the third annual America’s Top RIA Firms list, released by Forbes earlier this month, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The list, developed in partnership with SHOOK Research, recognizes 250 firms with “strong track records when it comes to stewarding client wealth and preserving it for the long term.”
Brandywine Oak Private Wealth in Kennett Square made the top 100 at No. 51. The firm has $1.6 billion in assets under management. It is led by co-founders and co-CEOs Michael Henley and Alison Dorsman and has 15 employees, seven of whom are certified financial planners.
Paoli-based investment advisor Great Valley Advisor Group ranked at No. 130. The firm is led by CEO James Spinelli and CFO Ryan Todd with $7.3 billion in assets under management. It is affiliated with LPL Financial, the largest independent U.S. broker-dealer.
West Chester’s Wedmont Private Capital ranked at No. 225. The fiduciary advisor to high-net-worth families is an index-based investor with $1.7 billion in assets under management. The firm was started four years ago by former Vanguard Group executive Dominic Corabi and former UBS executive James Pelletier.
