Greg Pilotti, the owner of Parkesburg-based Greg Pilotti Furniture Makers, will give advice on how to train and retain the next generation of woodworkers at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, writes Harry Urban for Woodworking Network.
Pilotti, who is young enough to understand the mentality and expectations of the next generation of workers, will hold a presentation – “Hire and Keep the Best Workforce You Ever Had” – in Manheim on Oct. 18.
He will focus on how to attract and retain the next generation of woodworkers.

Pilotti, who was trained at Stevens Tech’s commercial woodworking program, has already developed and implemented a plan for aggressively growing his company. This was acknowledged last month with the 2017 Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Award in Las Vegas.
“A lot of people tell me that they can’t even find applicants for jobs,” said Pilotti. “I have two or three people lined up for every opening.”
