This offshoot of Michoacana Grill is one of the best and coolest ice cream shops in the region, according to a list recently published by the magazine.

La Michoacana Ice Cream offers more than 50 delicious flavors of house-made ice cream, water ice, and frozen pops. Customers can chose from classic flavors to tropical options that include guava-guayaba and passion fruit. There are also unusual sounding but delicious flavors for the adventurous types that include corn and rice cream.

The shop at 231 East State Street is open every day from 12-9 PM.

There are also chairs available outside of the shop, so you can enjoy the cold treats either on-the-go or while relaxing at the store.
