Are you looking to explore a new activity or hobby? Do you want to build upon skills you may already have? Learn how to make your own pottery at Centered Clay Studio in Kennett Square, writes Laura Brzyski for Philadelphia Magazine.
Centered Clay Studio brings guests a bright and calm space to fully immerse themselves in. Between the two studios, the business has 19 wheels, four communal tables, plenty of kiln space, over 30 glazes, and two slab rollers for those willing to explore hand-building!
It offers 8-week pottery classes, with spring registration now open. Class levels are offered for a variety of skill ranges, from beginner to advanced.
The studio also has pottery workshops; a one-time, 3-hour lesson. These are perfect for a fun afternoon out with the girls, an adventurous date night, or team building with coworkers.
“I Made That” workshops are available for those interested in creating a specific piece, such as a birdhouse or travel mug.
The Centered Clay team can create a perfectly unique private event. Whether it’s a book club, birthday party, corporate team building, or anything in between, the studio has you covered.
