Wawa is releasing limited-edition sneakers to 10 fans, writes Stephanie Farr for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

They will be available through an end-of-summer social media giveaway: #WawaRun Gear Sweepstakes.

The Wawa sneakers are a Nike Air Max 90 running shoe, with colors and graphics inspired by Wawa. It was built in collaboration with Philadelphia-based sneaker designer and manufacturer, Garrixon.

The sneaker will have the flying goose pattern from Wawa hoagie wrappers and the words “Wawa Run” on the side.

Ten winners will receive the footwear in a “custom hoagie-inspired shoebox” that will also contain a Wawa gift card. The sweepstakes also have other Wawa-branded merchandise, including custom tents, coolers, and cameras.

“At Wawa, we pride ourselves on fueling the day of so many customers throughout the markets we serve, and this fun giveaway provides one additional way to bring happiness to customers who want to make a #WawaRun in style,” said Todd Miller Sr., Wawa’s director of brand strategy and experience.

To enter the #WawaRun Gear Sweepstakes, fans must follow Wawa’s Instagram page (@Wawa) between Tuesday, Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 30, and keep a lookout for designated posts.
