Two parades in as many months?

As sports fans, we can get used to this.

Two months after the Philadelphia Eagles kicked off a celebration – thanks to their historic victory in Super Bowl LII – that has yet to subside, the Villanova men’s basketball team will take its turn parading through Center City.

Again.

On Monday night, the Wildcats won their second national championship in the last three years by defeating Michigan, 79-62, and capping another sensational season on the Main Line under coach Jay Wright.

Villanova officials say the parade will begin at 11 AM on Thursday at 20th and Market streets and will end with a rally at Dilworth Park on the west side of City Hall.

The university will be closed on Thursday for the parade festivities.
