Spring-Ford Quarterback to Receiver Dodge Challenger This Summer as Part of Unique NIL Deal

Spring-Ford quarterback Matt Zollers will get behind the wheel of a Dodge Challenger in exchange for social media collaborations.

As part of a unique NIL deal, Spring-Ford quarterback Matt Zollers will get behind the wheel of a Dodge Challenger later this year in exchange for social media collaborations, writes Aaron Carter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The state’s top-rated quarterback in the class of 2025 is the first “Westwood Home Services athlete” to sign with the company, according to Joe Gazza of Aurum Sports.

“In exchange for commercial appearances and social media collaborations, Zollers will receive a Dodge Challenger this summer and fall,” stated a news release provided by Zollers’ agent.

Last season, Zollers, a 6-foot-4 and 205-pound Missouri pledge, threw for a school-record 2,917 yards.

The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association allows student-athletes to sign Name, Image, and Likeness agreements, but with some restrictions.

The PIAA handbook states that no member school or anyone affiliated with the school can assist a student in securing an NIL agreement. Student-athletes also may not wear a school uniform while fulfilling their part of the NIL agreement and they may not make reference to the PIAA or a member school, among other things.
