Swiss Farms recently kicked off its year-long celebration of 50 years in Delaware County with an official birthday party, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Delaware County News Network.

The original four Swiss Farms opened in Delaware County in March 1968, and the party took place at Swiss Farms’ recently renovated, flagship store in Havertown.

“We are so very proud of the hard work put into this Swiss Farms location and we want to show it off,” said Swiss Farms President and CEO Scott Simon.

The birthday party featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate 50 years of Swiss Farms. Two days before the celebration, the chamber presented Swiss Farms with its prestigious Small Business of the Year Award.
