Millions of people will flock to the streets of Philadelphia on Thursday for the Super Bowl Parade, and SEPTA is ready.

The transportation authority has changed its trains, buses, subways, and trolleys in order to accommodate the increase in riders.

SEPTA has issued recommendations for all commuters traveling to and from the city on the day of the parade. It has also announced that there will be no AM SEPTA outbound service from Center City to the Paoli/Thorndale Line stations, and no PM inbound service from the Paoli/Thorndale Line stations to Center City.

Chester County residents headed for the parade will need pre-purchased fares to travel SEPTA Regional Rail. Special ticket office hours and ticket office locations have been established and can be found here.

The only stations open for SEPTA trains on the Paoli/Thorndale Line on Thursday are Thorndale, Whitford, Exton, Paoli, and Ardmore. The line will also only run to 30th Street Station.

Trains are expected to be overcrowded, and parking is not guaranteed. The best idea is to arrange for a friend, family member, or ride-hauling service to get to the station.

The schedule is available at SEPTA’s website.
