Chesterbrook-based AmerisourceBergen, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution services companies, has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index.
The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, and is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
“We are proud and honored to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index as an organization that values equality and the dignity of each individual,” said Kathy Gaddes, AmerisourceBergen’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “At AmerisourceBergen, we have developed a culture where diverse perspectives and work styles are celebrated and encouraged.
“Just as we strive to create healthier futures every day, we remain unwaveringly committed to fostering an environment where our associates, leaders, and business partners are met with an experience that’s driven by innovation and inclusion.”
The 2018 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices, including
- non-discrimination workplace protections

AmerisourceBergen’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
