The Budweiser Clydesdales are back.
Grab your cameras and watch as the horses clippity-clop along Gay and Market streets in West Chester, delivering their favorite adult beverage to participating bars and restaurants on Thursday, Aug. 31.
It all starts at Gay and Matlack streets, then proceeds west to Darlington, south to Market, and east to Walnut Street.
First introduced in 1933 after the repeal of Prohibition, the Clydesdales have served as a living symbol of not just Budweiser, but the unconquerable American spirit. Famous worldwide for their appearances in parades, television broadcasts, and even presidential inaugurations, they’re now set to do their most important job yet – deliver beer to Responsible Alcohol Management Program-certified downtown watering holes.
The Clydesdale team will make a number of stops along the way and provide ceremonial deliveries to the following establishments:
- Root’s Café
- DeStarr’s Restaurant
- The Social Lounge
- Side Bar & Restaurant
- Kildare’s Irish Pub
- Ryan’s Pub
- Saloon 151
- Landmark Americana Tap & Grill
- Pietro’s Prime Steakhouse & Seafood
- Barnaby’s of West Chester
- Ram’s Head Bar & Grill
- Mas Mexicali Cantina
- Limoncello Ristorante
- Split Rail Tavern
