With offices in West Chester and Pottstown, Traffic Planning & Design (TPD) is an engineering firm that uses responsiveness and local knowledge to provide high-quality roadway and bridge design and inspection.

Construction Inspector

This position inspects roadway and bridge products; tests soils, concrete, and bituminous paving; calculates quantities for estimate payments; and reviews construction schedules following PennDOT documentation procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, a minimum of two years of PennDOT transportation construction inspection experience, and certification in at least NICET, NECEPT Bituminous, ACI/PennDOT Concrete Technician, and/or CDS/NextGen.

Highway Design Specialist

This position assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for projects; analyzes field data, blueprints, and reports; and prepares design computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; engineer in training certification; experience using CADD Software, preferably Microstation or AutoCAD; and excellent communication skills.

Proposal Marketing Specialist

This position reviews requests for proposals and assists the engineering staff in preparing statements of interest, and organizes and maintains tracking tools for the company’s qualifications, credentials, and project experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related discipline; and up to five years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably including proposal management experience.
