The western frontier of Fox Rothschild’s growing reach has touched America’s northwestern corner with an acquisition this week of the 39 attorneys who make up Riddell Williams.

The Seattle law firm will join the Fox Rothschild family, which includes lawyers based in Exton and across the Philadelphia area, beginning May 15, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report by Jeff Blumenthal.

“This a region where we have long wanted to establish a strong presence, and Riddell Williams was the ideal partner because it has deep roots in the business and civic community and its attorneys are immensely respected,” said Fox Rothschild Chairman Mark L. Silow.

“As one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, Seattle is a thriving metropolitan area with a pervasive and influential technology sector.”

The Riddell Williams purchase adds to last year’s 14 percent revenue growth for Fox Rothschild and edges it closer to the Top 80 U.S. law firms.
